The Gospel?

This is the stuff that brings shame to the Gospel.

Hey Bro,

Video number one:
DESPICABLE.

Video Number two:

Wow. My family had that book, I must find a copy myself.

God Bless

The first video is entertaining. It serves a good purpose by providing hope. Do I believe it is genuine, no. But, it does have a positive effect on those that no foundation of faith. I once visited a Church of God In Christ (C.O.G.I.C) and this type of stuff is really popular in those churches. The actual effect is more psychological than spiritual. Some people whom have never given themselves a chance, tend to suprise themselves when the believe they are supposed to be healed. That was cool how her leg grew, I was truly wow'd.

The Second video was too suspect. 14 years without sunlight, while barely eating. This guy would be dead if this were true. We gain our energy from what we consume and the amount (sun)light we get. (Ever wonder why we're so drowsy on rainy and/cloudy days?)

Charles we don't agree with the first video and think it is hogwash bro. We do agree with the second one and there are many people from China to England who has spent more time than that in Solitary Confinement.

Charles,

Your reaction to those two videos is not at all surprising. You would rather believe in magic soap than the God Who can make a man survive prison--which many have done.

This is not debatable. What a shallow and unGodlike "god" you serve.

Hey Guys,

All I did was share a different perspective. I knew what you guy thought about the videos. I don't agree or disagree with either video to be honest. They both have good and false purposes. Are any of the claims and events in the videos possible? Maybe they are. Regardless of how we may feel or what we believe, if people want to believe that they can be healed by soap, I say let them. That only provides a hope that they didn't have before. "Hope is faith holding out its hand in the dark..."
I'm not sure why you both think the second video has any validity. Okay maybe my allergy meds had me a little tipsy. Maybe this was more than one guy talking on the video. However, this guy was confined in the dark for 14 years, sometimee being fed a slice of bread a week. How did he know what a week was without any indication of sunrise or sunset? Did he have a watch? Do you guys even know what would happen to properly functioning human eyes after going that long without light? Do you guys know anything about the Human anatomy? True, people have been imprisoned longer than 14 years, but I'm sure they had sunlight and/or others to communicate with. This guy would have been insane after the second year under these alleged conditions. Overall, I have to admit, it's a great way to sell a book and make money, just like selling miracle soap.

Sam you say I would rather believe in magic... The man on the second video said that God appeared to him in the form of sparkling diamonds on the wall (I think), yet you say that I believe in Magic.
